THIRD YEAR PROJECT
Designed using: Revit, Autocad, Photoshop
CONCEPT
The Nuu-Chah-Nulth Community Centre is to be a local gathering place for all members of the Nuu-Chah-Nulth nations, whether they are local members or visiting from other parts along the west coast. the design concept is centred around the nations four core spiritual chiefs- land, sky, sea and horizon. the centre's floor plan will be divided into four distinct quadrants, each representing one of these chiefs and their corresponding realm. The community centre is to have a very organic and raw aesthetic to reflect the Nuu-Chah-Nulths connection to nature through the use of sustainable materials and a flowing floor plan.
