BOUTIQUE HOTEL DESIGN
The Press Hotel
268 Four Mile Creek Road
Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario
THIRD YEAR PROJECT
Designed using: Revit, Autocad, Photoshop
CONCEPT
The Press Hotel is an elevated experience that brings the past and present into a beautifully curated hotel that oozes luxury while being a good balance of grunge and class. The hotel is conceptually following the town's history of having upper Canada's first ever newspaper founded in 1793. While keeping the design appropriate to Niagara's 19th-century architecture, this establishment will stand out among the other local accommodations. And the reference to the industrial revolution from which the printing press was born will be weighted heavily throughout the space from materials, lighting, and furniture.
